In the sunset of dissolution, everything is illuminated by the aura of nostalgia...
Sad times sad times guys... Clarence is falling apart. We all knew it was going to happen some time but it is rather confronting all the same. The first material evidence for this dissolution occurred in the guise of Ron and Chris Addie mounting an all-out assault on our poor defenseless furniture. They have now kidnapped "old bluey" and ravaged our collection of extra-hard bum-callousing chairs. So not only to we have severely limited seating arrangements in the household (with only 2 and 1/2 chairs between the 3 of us) but another Clarencian has fallen.
Richard has now been lured away from our humble abode with the promise of exotic foreign adventures and asian delights with his wads and wads of US dollars. Rick and I are now ajoined by an almost empty room (now with pseudo-privacy!) due to the mysterious vagrancies of our transient new inmate... Dan the Man. What does the future hold for old number 35? We will soon see... but for now a tribute... to the old blue couch with its dodgy slippery cushions and its endless bounty of treasures and loose change deposits....
and to Richard who wins the award for most studious clarencian (with the other Richard coming a close second) and who finally made it to the pub with us on his last night here!
All the best to both members of our family in their future endeavours! Also... props to rick for driving past the RE for Georgias 21st birthday in only his underwear on such a cold night...
