One more for the road...
Biggest rusty spoon ever! Maybe not the most inventive, or interesting, or challenging (as they sorta knew where they were going...) but definately wins the award for longest distance... so far anyway... Watch out Mag/Sal/Bec your turn will come!.

As a send off ye olde Haylos quite an adventure was planned spanning states, covering several hundred kilometers and involving goon laybacks and of course... the civic video guy. The clues set by Liam and Celeste (with the assistance of the lovely Maggie, Sally, Bec and the afore mentioned civic video guy) led Hayley and Renee all the way down to Byron Bay where several thousand schoolies lay in wait! We of course took up the toolie challenge and proceeded to drink goon in public and munch down several kebabs and were very tempted to seduce some of the young hedonists.... however we couldn't keep up with those young revelers and decided to retire to the lighthouse on the hill for more goon and an insano lighting storm. After too many jokes about bodily functions (thanks largely to Hayley), tent spooning, sleep-talking, rain rain rain, early morning coffee, and some last minute organisational dilemmas we finally arrived at the mecca of our pilgrimage.... a big day out underwater.
Befriended by turtles, a whopping great big bull ray, a fat lazy wobbegong shark and countless little fishy's and sea critters we returned home absolutely exhausted. So long Haylos! May your manic mine ministrations meet your magical madonna magnanimity and we will see you at woodford!

wow. road trips + goon laybacks + civic video men + bullsharks + spooning + a hearty dose of nostalgia = a fitting end. my chest is tightened and i feel like popping over to give everyone a hug, a kitsch gift and some blessings for the future. its all happening in spirit. xoxoxo
Rusty spoon, good times good times... the best in fact! I miss you guys doubly knowing that what was once my concrete and absolute reality will now only exist in our shared memories. Saying goodbye to clarence and its inhabitants over a blog seems like the most detached and anticlimatic end to what made being a uni student the happiest time of my life.
Thank you so much guys
i hope we find some more front steps somewhere one day to all drink tea together.
love gab
