Adios Senorita! Ola Ricardo!

Alas, another dear Clarencian has slipped from our ranks. Our sweet little Gabrielle has decided to pack up shop and escape to the other side of the world to Guadalajara, Mexico! for a year long exchange at Tecnologico De Monterrey university. We will all miss her amazing energy and her ability to always find new ways to have so much funfunfun! ("Who's up for going to a maze and getting stoned guys?") Although we are down to just 2 original members of the Clarence crew, we have a new recruit.... Annoucing: RICHIE! The sweet little psychology student you all know and love (if not already then you will soon enough!) who has taken up residence in what used to be Hayley's Harem (Hales has now moved uptown on our ghetto and is playing queen of the castle across the hall in Gab's old room). Sadly Rich isn't off to a good start. On his debut of moving out from his parents, he only managed to stay 2 nights in the house before getting the flu and returning to the doting love of his parentals. He has vowed to try again next week and we are looking forward to his triumphant return! So this post is dedicated to:

Gaby and Bri (we miss you chikitas!) may they make plenty of new hot mexican friends in their crazy world of Central America....

And here's to Richard "number 2" (To those of you who haven't noticed there are now 2 Richards in our house)... may he endure in our house longer than 2 nights when he gets back!

Splendour in the Mud

Splendiferous Times Everyone!
Nothing can compare to the come down after frying your brain on drugs, loud music and good times the day before you have to settle back down to the tedium of academic reality and old routine. But it was all worth it! (Even if you did lose a few shoes in the knee deep mud!) We chilled to the awesome sounds of Matisyahu, bopped along to an upbeat set from Death Cab for Cutie, rocked out to Youth Group, danced out asses off to The Grates, were impressed by the vintage sounds of You Am I, took in the majesty of Sonic Youth, got blown away by Mogwai, moshed out with the surprise act The Vines, basked in the aura of DJ Shadow, got our socks knocked off by TV on the Radio (one of my new favourite bands), picked up a good vibration from Brian Wilson, got down and dirty with the Scissor Sisters, and had a complete soundgasm with the Yeah Yeahs Yeahs! Woo yeah. All the happy campers included: Liam, Rico, Uncle Samwise, The Mullwagon, and new best friends Ellen, Ileen and Jo (Aka "The Fem"). The whole weekend was quite a blur and I am having trouble remembering quite a lot of what went down but the good-times-chilled-out-hippy vibe is still clinging to me like the mud (and slugs!!)in my shoes. Ahhh... its just a shame that i have to get back into uni mode to write a 30% assignment by next friday. eep.

The Mullwagon had to get towed. We really were just posing as 4 wheel drivers.

loving doing nothing

well i know my themed weeks kind of died out a while ago when it began to feel that the theme of each day was go to wordsmiths and study and forget everything else you care about... but now that there is more to life than that edgy cafe and books on stats i feel inspiration is coming back... there is time in the day nowadays to lye in bed and read the whole paper, or peel some apples for stewed apple, or maybe even paint t-shirts?..
and so the theme of my week is enjoying doing nothing... maybe i'll think about leaving the house towards friday?
ps. i very important member of our house has just left us to try her luck in the land of turkish delights and turkish carpets.. yep thats right Turkey!
you're a special girl Bon! and tasty too.. wink wink nudge nudge say no more say no more.

Liam breaks down over bon's absence while rick is driven to the drink

Guess The Random Hookup(s)

When will the debauchery end at Clarence house? Presumably it will die down following the sad departure of our fleeting little mischievious pixie Bon Con on Thursday. But at Straddy the antics were is full swing. See if you can guess who really got some and who was just horny with the following set of compromising photographs:

Did Bonnie and Liam get it on....?

Or was it Gab and Rick who got down and dirty???

Did Bonnie and Tom get nasty...?

Was it Gab and Liam that got lucky ?

Did Tom and Rick lose themselves in the moment...?

Were Bon and Gab overwhelmed by passion?

Cast your votes now to speculate on the lucky couple(s)....!

Formal Spooning

I say, classy. Very classy chaps. A very well-to-do affair wot. Haven't had a tiddle like that in many a year. Cheers fellows for a delightfully charming evening.
